About our Lamb
Our lamb is exclusively from our flock of Dorset Down sheep. The breed is one of the oldest breeds of native sheep, developed in the 1800s by crossing Southdown rams with Wiltshire, Berkshire and Hampshire ewes. Dorset Downs are known as “king of the prime lamb breed”, producing tender and succulent meat. Our lambs may be over a year old, which means they are classed as Hogget Lamb - resulting in a slightly bigger cut and more flavour than new season lamb.
Delivery/Collection
Our meat is shipped every Wednesday via 24 hour delivery. It may be shipped freshly frozen to allow for safe transport using insulated packaging and ice packs. Alternatively, we offer a free local delivery service within 15 miles of Garboldisham, Norfolk or you are most welcome to collect it from us.
